To continue with our training project we have decided to create a basketball club, in order to closely follow and participate in the training of young players. The club is “FARLAWSPORTS BASKET TEAM TARRACONENSIS C.B.”

These two categories have between 2,244 players in the Second “B” and 7,920 players in the Third Division, but curiously they are categories classified as NON-PROFESSIONALS. The General Regulations of the RFEF and other regulations consider that these non-professional categories should not have the same rights as the professional categories, organized by LA LIGA (1st and 2nd Division, with 44 teams, and a total of 1,050 players). In other words, if we add up the total players we have 11,214 of which only 1,050 players (0.93% of players) are only those who can compete in the 1st and 2nd professional categories.

Next July 1, 2021 the player transfer market will open. Specifically, the professional players are the ones who will be in the 1st and 2nd Division League competition, and the rest of the players are NOT professionals, since despite being paid to play, they play in NON-professional categories, and although the RFEF has created the new categories of 1st, 2nd and 3rd RFEF in an attempt to compete with the League, but the attempt is unfeasible, since the 1990 Sports Law is very clear when it determines which category is professional and which is not.
