The Malian-born footballer Moussa Sidibé (Bamako, Mali, 1994) joined the SD Ponferradina club in León last Monday, August 10, 2020. Professionalism and humility have been the rules of conduct that have led him to LaLiga SmartBank. Moussa arrives at the club “white and blue” after a long progression through different categories. Moussa’s culture of effort and dedication have taken him to the top of the professional league.
As Jesse Owens says; “We all have dreams, but to turn dreams into reality you need a lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.” Moussa has followed in his footsteps, which is why he has surpassed his goals as a footballer.
Sociedad Deportiva Ponferradina is a football club that reached the Second Division during the 2005-2006 season. Thanks to the persistence and dedication of the players and coach, the Leonese club was able to achieve the desire to move up to Second Division. We are very sure that Moussa will make great contributions for the club and set an example for the other players. His ways of doing things will make SD Ponferradina an exceptional club.
Previously, Moussa Sidibé had played in the Third Division with UE Llagostera during the 2018-2019 season and in the Second Division B at Fútbol Club Andorra during the 2019-2020 season. As you can see, his career has been progressive and, as he himself says: “with work and effort I have managed to move up in category to reach professional football.”
