The Second Division «B» and the Third Division continue with an unknown horizon

Our professional office is always at the side of the players, and especially the most needy, who are those who play in Second 'B' and Third. These two categories have between 2,244 players in the Second “B” and 7,920 players in the Third Division, but curiously they are categories classified as NON-PROFESSIONALS. The General Regulations of the RFEF and other regulations consider that these non-professional categories should not have the same rights as the professional categories, organized by LA LIGA (1st and 2nd Division, with 44 teams, and a total of 1,050 players). In other words, if we add up the total players we have 11,214 of which only 1,050 players (0.93% of players) are only those who can compete in the 1st and 2nd professional categories.

Football Market

Next July 1, 2021 the player transfer market will open. Specifically, the professional players are the ones who will be in the 1st and 2nd Division League competition, and the rest of the players are NOT professionals, since despite being paid to play, they play in NON-professional categories, and although the RFEF has created the new categories of 1st, 2nd and 3rd RFEF in an attempt to compete with the League, but the attempt is unfeasible, since the 1990 Sports Law is very clear when it determines which category is professional and which is not.

the foolishness

Foolishness can be both a mere anecdote and a category. Incurring in a foolishness is frequent, no matter how smart or intelligent one is, because due to a mental lapse, laziness, lack of memory, haste or other factors, the logical limits in a given situation to make a decision or carry out an action that does not results in damage to themselves or third parties are relegated. Regardless of the result of said decision, favourable, indifferent or adverse, the folly refers to the inconsistency or potentially harmful of said decision, when a thoughtful approach, with the express or tacit information available to the subject at that time, to that situation would determine not take it or not execute it in the chosen terms.

Agents, representatives and intermediaries are not lawyers

When the so-called «player market» arrives, it is the moment in which the media talk about agents, representatives and intermediaries who try to intervene in operations related to the hiring of players for clubs, or what is the same, those people who they look for companies (clubs or S.A.D.) to hire workers (soccer players).

The need for legal advice

In recent days, the dramatic situation in a professional club has come to light excessively. Well, the drama is due to the social mass of team fans who see the real possibility of losing the category in the middle of January. We cannot speak of so much drama for the owners of the club who, in short, know that like any business that has a risk, on certain occasions it can earn some profit, but on other occasions it can also lead to financial bankruptcy.
